Hi, I’m Aubrey!

Thanks so much for being here. This little corner of the internet started as a way to journal my life - and while that’s still true, it’s grown right along with me.

These days, my life looks a lot different than it did back in my college years. I’m a wife, a mom to busy little boys, and the heart behind my creative business, Penny & Pigment. Life is full, a little chaotic, and very real - and that’s exactly what you’ll find here.

I share bits of everything: motherhood, home life, party planning, creative projects, and the behind-the-scenes of building something of my own. Some days are beautifully put together, and others are “surviving on snacks and caffeine” and I’m okay sharing both.

My faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ is a big part of who I am. It grounds me, stretches me, and reminds me to keep trying - even when I feel like I’m falling short. I don’t have it all figured out, but I’m learning as I go.

I’m a lover of peonies, a chronic over-thinker, and a “simple foods only” kind of girl (unless sweets are involved—then all bets are off). Give me a cozy night, a creative project, and something sour, and I’m happy.
