Salt Lake Saturday's

so it's been too long... 

like way too long.

so hello!

say hi to my marvelous Saturday!

*cause it truly was so much fun*

My work provided tickets to Utah's Hogle Zoo

me and a plus one!!

so guess who I brought..!

I don't know who caught who buuuutt I guess you could say I'm extremely happy about it :)

we had so much fun!!

and of course bae and her plus one were there to join the party.

I think Presten took about 35 different pictures of us so we got plenty of candid ones

WE CUTE!

The day was filled with bird shows, elephants (my favorite) getting bathed,

and alligators (my second favorite) sitting there doing nothing.

*I so badly wanted to throw something at them so they would move*

honestly my secret love for alligators/crocodiles is scary.

I watch documentaries on them when Jaz isn't home

I love love looooove the show Gator Boys

I just think the thrill of them is what I'm addicted to.

They're so interesting and amazing animals.

anywho.

we got home and us girls thought a nap sounded perfectly great

and of course we DIDN'T get our nap.

we watched The Saratov Approach instead

aaaannd preparing to send Presten out into the mission field I'll openly

admit this movie gave me a bit more anxiety.

I did choke back tears at how amazing these two young men were.

so inspiring!

We headed downtown for an outdoor concert

I didn't know that when you are famous streets would get shut down 

just so you could set up a big stage and play RIGHT in the middle.

celebrities man.

(haha)

The Wallflowers and Train did me good

and I got to spend it holding this sweet guys hand

not gonna lie

giddy about the whole day.

Saturday did me well.

Here's to a week of work

...and missing this guy because of scout camp

but it's okay cause I got bae :)

and we gonna party.
