Escaping Reality

Memorial Day weekend was a great getaway with my sweet Jaz.
We house sat for our boss and watched their adorable ((HUGE)) dogs!
(pictured: Diesel)

And also watched his pet snakes...

One even laid eggs while we were there.
(appreciate Jazmin's yellow cleaning gloves haha)

We enjoyed getting out and hiking in Draper
(enjoy our asian eyes)

We watched some pretty weird Documentaries on Netflix-- I recommend "The Blackfish"
(kind of sad but super interesting)

We jumped on the bed and took some quality photos
(I literally die laughing looking at these)

Obviously it's Superman and Spiderman..

We had a good laugh at how immature we are :)

This Memorial Day Weekend was one I'll never forget for all these reasons and MANY more!
Thanks to Sam and Katie for trusting us to watch their house and providing a mini vacay for us.

Aubster Lobster

1. I have no idea what I'm going to major in-at all. and I'm not at all worried..okay maybe a little.

2. Love is an understatement, but I LOVE candy. I love all things spicy or sour.. except warheads-those things destroy. Sadly I am off sugars for at least a month *insert crying emoji*
Hi, I love you!

3. Spending time with my family is one of my favorite past times.

4. I have 9 nieces and nephews and one on the way! They are wild and crazy but I love hanging out with them and spoiling them when I can.

5. My mom and I share matching moles between our toes--often mistaken for dirt.

6. I love Love. Nothing makes me happier than seeing newlyweds or a soon-to-be husband and wife. Their happiness is glowing.
 your happiness is showing :)

7. I like to think I'm funny and sometimes I am but most times I'm that person who says something and everyone fakes a laugh--so in other words I'm that one friend who makes the awkward comments who thinks they're funny but in reality they're not.

8. I can't hold up the number 3 with my 3 middle fingers on my right hand--They look completely weird.

9. Missionary Monday is literally my favorite. I wake up 3-4 times a night because I'm so excited to read my email!

10. I have an innie (Bellybutton of course). fyi

11. I've had many nicknames in my 19 years of living- Aubs, Aubo, Waubo, Bre, AB, Taubrey, etc. but the one that's stuck the most is Lobster. Given to me from my lovely roomie Jaz.

12. I believe that there is one person I'm going to marry--Yeah yeah they say that there are many right people for you but I strongly believe that there is one person out there that was made for me. Disney movies/chick flicks ruined me and my love expectations.

13. I've never had long hair in my life. Most my friends know that if they diss my hair I will cry.

14. I think that holding hands is one of the biggest/cutest signs of affection. Especially while driving. I'm a total sucker for it. Some people say it's childish but I think it's simple.

15. I'm probably the pickiest person you'll ever meet. I still like my cheeseburgers plain. I have a texture problem-- I have to have things crispy so don't even get me started on how gross soup is. I often wonder what life would be like without being picky, I think it would be a lot easier.

16. I have a love-hate relationship with my dog. Literally it's the happiest day when she jumps on the couch to cuddle with me--IT'S A HUGE DEAL.

17. When I was younger I had a pet bird that was purely white-- I loved that bird so much that one day I got over-sized gardening gloves on so that I could hold it-- I guess I underestimate my own strength because I squeezed that bird to death... literally. It died in my hands.

18. I'm probably the most indecisive person you'll ever meet. Seriously I can't make a decision worth my life.

19. I turn 20 in November and I still get told I look like I'm 14-- I get mad but at the same time at least I know I'm going to age well. Right!?

20. I can't stand it when people leave their windshield wipers on when it has stopped raining. Seriously--It stopped raining! You can turn them off now! *shiver/cringe*

Just thought you'd like to know some random facts about me.

Let's go a-traveling!

The last few weeks I've just wanted to go on an adventure. I want to drive six hours for a solid three day vacation in St. George, I've honestly looked at plane tickets to Hawaii, and I'm literally planning on going to California either with friends that would like to join or by myself...but I will go either way!

If I had all the money in the world I would travel everywhere. I love seeing new things and experiencing new culture. Although I am a very picky eater I would make myself try new things because you can't go traveling without eating something weird.. right? If so... let me in on the secret so I'll survive.

While I dream of traveling the world one day, pictures will have to do for now.

The Amalfi Coast, Italy
 *looks absolutely beautiful*

Acropolis of Athens, Greece
*It would be so fun exploring the ancient parts of Greece*

Stockholm, Sweden
*I love all the colors*

Dunn's River Falls, Jamaica
*Oh what I would give to go hike this waterfall again with the people of Jamaica. They are so so nice.*

Cordoba, Argentina
*Just cause my roommate is from Argentina*

Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
*I would love to visit this memorial*

Texas
*How could I not put good ol' Texas on here? I need to go visit my hometown*

Auckland, New Zealand
*umm okay. Gorgeous*

Bern, Switzerland
*eeeek it's too pretty!*

Get me on the next flight to these beautiful places!

Also something I've wanted to do for quite some time is go on a Humanitarian Trip. I would love serving those people who need it and I would love playing with little kids! As I do not have over $2,000 to drop for one of these trips I will keep hoping that in some point in my life I will get the opportunity to go on one of these adventures. I hope you all feel like traveling this pretty world we live in.
Love,
Aubo

~Britt Girl~

How sad I was when I came home to this...

Freshman year has come to an end and everyone is moving out.
(*insert crying emojis here*)
Last night was the last night my sweet Britt girl stayed. Can I just tell you all how amazing this girl is?! She would drive all the way to my work to bring me food and to bring me my spare keys cause I've developed a new habit of leaving my keys in the ignition...
She cooked for me and was always willing to share with me everything and anything she had. She was even patient with me when watching me just about cry over cooking chicken that I still haven't mastered.
 (cooking isn't my thang...)
Britt girl just randomly tried cooking things and I envied her for that because she seriously was so brave and most of the time it turned out amazing.. except that cheeseburger pasta.. that was just.. eww.
Last night was our last night and we decided to have a slumber party in the living room. We moved the empty mattresses and ALL slept on the floor at Britt's request.
Although I was stressed over my math final in the morning it was relaxing and fun to have a "sleepover" even though we've been sleeping in the same room for 9 months now.

Every story is dramatic to Britt and it made me laugh every time. Everything was a big deal and I just loved that about her... although I did have to knock her upside the head sometimes :)
I loved our late night chats Britt girl.
--remember that night when we were reading our scriptures and I jumped up and demanded that you read 2 Nephi: 4. After you read it you jumped up and we just talked about all the things we loved about it!--
You were the person that would always listen no matter what. Usually I got some good advice but sometimes I got "I don't know what to tell you" and then you'd move on and act like it wasn't a big deal when I clearly thought it was a huge deal. It drove me CRAZY! haha
To my dearest Britt girl. You are amazing and I just love you so much! Thank you for making my Freshman year one for the books!

Although I'll miss my Britt girl I'm excited to have signed with my sweet Jaz.
I'm welcoming Fall 2014 with our crazy new adventures to come!
